When Brooke woke up and I told her it was a SNOW DAY she didn't really react, not sure if she really understands what it is. But when I told her we weren't going to school today she hugged me so hard! She was so happy to stay home in the warm house and in her jammies for a little bit. Usually I have to wake her and change her into her clothes right away and she does not like that...not a morning person at all. She then jumped out of bed and asked for hot chocolate! So, I made a mug of hot chocolate for her and she wanted pancakes so I made those while she was drinking her hot chocolate. We had a great morning together, it was nice to not have to rush out the door.
